Before application, always read
the latest information for your chosen product.
Is one impregnation suitable for every surface?+
No. Materials differ in absorbency, composition and finish. Choose a product suited to the specific substrate and the effect described in its product information. Test it in an inconspicuous area before starting work.
Does water beading mean protection against oil?+
No. Reduced wetting by water does not automatically mean protection against oily stains. For protection against oil, look for products specifically intended for that purpose, such as BETON ANTISTAIN.
Why does the calculator show a consumption range?+
Consumption depends on factors such as absorbency, texture and application method. The calculator uses the ranges given on the product pages. A trial on the actual substrate helps you plan the quantity more accurately.
Will impregnation change the colour of the surface?+
That depends on the product and the material. Some products provide colourless protection; others create a wet-look finish. Always check the description and limitations, and assess a test area after it has dried.
